Hunsicker’s Grove features a charming nature trail that loops around the pond. The trail includes wooden stairs and small footbridges that cross creeks, which can bring water into the pond during rainy times. It offers elevated views of the pond, giving trail users a fresh perspective. A wide, grassy glade leads to the pond and connects the trail back to the dock area. This glade is alive with blue jays, woodpeckers, and hawks—though I heard the hawks more than I saw them! One particularly elusive blue jay refused to stay still long enough for a photo. Looks like I'll need to be quicker next time!
