Autumn colors accentuated by golden hour light at Schlicher's Covered Bridge in North Whitehall Township's Trexler Nature Preserve. Many visitors to the Lehigh Valley Zoo will cross this bridge on their way to the popular Lehigh Valley attraction year round.

This burr truss covered bridge is 108 feet long and was built in 1882. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the bridge was reconstructed in 2014 to make it longer and wider.
