The sun sets on a mild June evening at Leaser Lake in Lynn Township, Pennsylvania. Located in Lehigh County, Leaser Lake is a manmade lake owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Built for recreational purposes in 1971, the lake is a popular spot for fishermen, boaters and kayakers alike. This view was shot nearby the south boat ramp on the east side of the lake. A long exposure was used to smooth out the water and achieve a mirrored sky affect on the lakes surface. Tall reeds and large boulders provide a beautiful nature foreground for our image, as the shoreline leads the viewer into the magenta sunset.
