The Western Footbridge

Stop number one on our photo tour of Cedar Creek Park is the western footbridge. This is a small wooden (but sturdy!) footbridge designed to transport walkers and bikers alike over the quiet Cedar Creek waterway. The wooden aspect of the bridge is a natural addition to the surrounding landscape, which is filled in with large weeping willow trees above and tall grass along the creek. The tall grass is often dotted with wildflowers. The view down the creek is incredibly peaceful and you’ll almost always see park visitors taking time to stop there and soak in the view of Cedar Creek or take photos and selfies.
