From the sands of Cape May Beach, we can see the Cape May Lighthouse across a portion of the Atlantic Ocean. The lighthouse is backlit by a brilliant August sunset. In the foreground huge black rocks contrast against this soft sandy New Jersey beach.

The Cape May Lighthouse is a historical landmark. Built in 1859, it's still used for navigational purposes to this day.
